Guess What? The New TomTom LINK 610 And 710 Have Arrived

The treats keep on coming from our friends at TomTom Telematics this week, following the release of new WEBFLEET software.

Fleet managers, brace yourselves... new models of the TomTom LINK vehicle tracking device have also landed, and they look pretty epic!

TomTom have teased that the new LINK devices "offer much more than just vehicle tracking"...

New features include, but are not limited to:

A GPS receiver and mobile network module in one unit, providing the vehicle’s current
position and sending vehicle data to TomTom Telematics service platform.
Designed with end-to-end security, taking care of data security & data privacy.
Support crash detection and driver behaviour analyses to help your drivers achieve a greener, safer and efficient driving style.
Compact hardware size with built-in antennae is meant for a faster installation; the same power, CAN connector and mounting holder shared between LINK 610 & LINK 710 are a well-thought-out design for potential upgrade needs.
Built with CAN connectivity, enabling access to enhanced vehicle data read from passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
The optional TomTom LINK CAN Sensor 100 (LCS 100) offers non-intrusive and easy integration between the LINK 610 or LINK 710 device, and the CAN bus of your vehicle.
For LINK 710 only: Bluetooth and multiple I/O interfaces enable a wide range of integration with additional hardware. FMS interface and digital tachograph support make the LINK 710 a suitable vehicle tracking & management device for heavy commercial vehicles.
