Mar 15, 2021

Want to get your business back up and running? Here are 6 simple, government approved and COVID-secure ways to get started.

1. Risk assessment

As an employer, you must protect people from harm. This includes taking reasonable steps to protect your workers and others from coronavirus. This is called a COVID-19 risk assessment and it'll help you manage risk and protect people.

2. Social distancing

Where possible you should keep people 2 metres apart. If this is not viable, keeping 1 metre apart with risk mitigation is acceptable.

4. Talk to workers and provide information

Consult and involve people in the steps you're taking to manage the risk of coronavirus in your workplace so you can:

  • explain the changes you're planning to work safely
  • make sure changes will work and hear their ideas
  • continue to operate your business safely

Can talking really help? Yes, it sure can!
