CEO Completes Marathon Challenge!

Our CEO Wayne Cartwright successfully completed the Virgin London Marathon on 26th April 2015.

His very commendable time was 4 hours, 17 minutes and 2 seconds. Wayne ran in the memory of his father, who passed away from cancer last year and raised over £6300 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Despite a few aching muscles Wayne said he felt remarkably good after completing the race; “After the passing of my dad I wanted to do my bit and give something back to all the people who helped him and my family through the last few months of his life. I’m thrilled to have achieved the time that I did and it feels like a huge accomplishment. I am also really proud of the amount of money raised for Macmillan. My dad was with me every step of the way!”.
