Windows Ink Puts Life Back Into Pen and Paper

Pen and paper still matter. That's the latest message from Microsoft, and the hot new release of Windows Ink backs this up entirely.

The technology giants are going back to basics, and for all the right reasons. Windows Ink is smart, fresh and did I mention... smart?!

Ink is able to bring your thoughts to life, and finds its feet in the workplace, whilst also reaching out for the artist in you during your free time.

Smart editing in Word

You'd be forgiven for thinking Ink is restricted to a sketchpad. That's just not the case. It's fully compatible with Microsoft Word and makes editing documents better than ever.

Strike through words to make them disappear, circle text to select it, highlight with precision or transform drawings into shapes with just one touch. It's all rather impressive!

Windows Ink and OneNote

Intelligent Sticky Notes

Never lose a thought or forget a detail. Write a flight number and up comes the flight status, or jot down an address and Maps will find the best route. Even write a phone number and then just tap it to make the call.

Capture details and ideas as they happen. Naturally use two hands to adjust the thickness of a line, or bring up a digital ruler to trace along its straight edge, just like on paper.

Easily capture what's on your screen and mark it up with your digital pen. Whether it's a document, web page, photo or app, take a screenshot of your desktop, ink it up and share it with one click.
