Microsoft Rolls Out a Faster, Smarter Outlook
Aug 9, 2017
Microsoft has opened its doors to a beta release of Outlook.com this week, and opt-in users can now access a faster and more personalised email experience.
A more responsive framework, believed to resemble Facebook's ReactJS, brings a refreshed design to life.
The new version - soon to be available to all users - consists of a number of updates, including an improved conversation view, and the ability to read and attach files a lot faster.
Microsoft is also in the middle of testing out some other new features, including the ability to tag restaurants, flight information, or contacts’ schedules into emails. This offers the ability to attach rich information, such as flight details, to an existing conversation in your inbox.
And because what is life without emojis and GIFs, these are some of the new personalisation features, which are now available within your mailbox.
Outlook will also group all of your incoming sent and received photos into a single spot, proving that accessibility has been a key focus in this update.
